    The Rolling Stones' Gimme Shelter

    image.jpg
The Rolling Stones's outdoor concert at the Altamont Speedway in 1969 is said to mark the beginning of the end of the '60s revolution. The Maysles Brothers' extraordinary documentary captures all the live music highlights from the day – including sets by Jefferson Airplane, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Tina Turner and of course the Stones themselves – alongside the usual parade of crazed, flower-powered hippies flashing peace signs. But their cameras also caught something far more disturbing: the murder of black youth Meredith Hunter by the Hells Angels gang the Stones had misguidedly hired to provide venue security. As a peek into the dark heart of the hippie dream, and as a rousing music documentary, 'Gimme Shelter' is unmissable.

Also, every applicant will automatically be entered into a prize draw for a Gibson guitar!
Screenings start at 6:30pm on Thursday September 17, at the following locations:

We have a few tickets to reallocate due to cancellations to a Special Preview of The Firm, TONIGHT Monday 14th September, at Cineworld Cardiff, before it opens in cinemas on 18th September, which is followed by a Q&A with director Nick Love

Loosley adapted from Alan Clarke's 1989 classic TV film, Nick Love's film is set earlier in the 80's and retells a similar story to the original - but from a different character's point of view. The film centres on Dom, a young wannabe football casual, who gets drawn into the charismatic, but dangerous world of the firm's top boy, Bex.

Humorous, heart warming and set to a killer jazz funk 80's soundtrack, The Firm is a classic coming of age story set amongst one of England's most revered tribes.

If anybody bothered to check before they post codes to see if it has already been posted you would see that phunkygal originally posted all the relevant information, including which newspaper to buy, on a post dated 11th September.

I apolgise for 'chatting' on this thread but these duplicate posting of codes happens far too often and the same old questions are asked when they are posted subsequently.
