Database/record of air traffic control strikes?

Options
I am in the process of claiming compensation from easyJet for flight delay of 18 hours from Zurich to London Gatwick (flight should have departed on evening of 21st June).

Initial response from easyJet has been to reject claim because of an air traffic control strike, there was absolutely no mention of this at the time and all other flights out of Zurich appeared to be operating normally, so I suspect this is not the case.

Is there a website or database that I can check to see if there was an air traffic control strike somewhere else in Europe that may have had a knock on impact to my flight?

I have asked easyJet to tell me where the strike was that they refer to, but have had no reply yet.
