Hotels.com has supposedly refunded me

Options
Can someone please advice me thanks...

Hotels.com refunded me 2 amounts on 12 July 2017. The refund will take upto 15 working days. I have received 1 refund but not the other.
They said contact your bank and see why they have not refunded me. I spoke to my bank and they said they release all refunds straight away (like the one i have already receieved).

I contacted hotels.com again and they asked for a copy of my bank statement which i provided.
Having viewed my statement, which clearly shows the 2nd refund has not been recieved, they replied with the following:...

Thank you for contacting Hotels.com customer support regarding your billing concern for your booking under the itinerary number XXXXXXXXX.

Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you. We have reviewed your reservation and confirmed that the refund amounting to XXX.XX GBP and XXX.XX GBP has been processed and released on July 12, 2017. If it has not posted to your account yet, you may want to check with your bank, as they must still be processing it.

Thank you for using our website and we appreciate your business with us.

Sincerely,

Jill B.

I contacted the bank and they said its hotels.com that i need to contact. I feel like hotels.com are fobbing me off.

Please advise who do i contact?

Many Thanks

Sharon

As you paid by card, phone you bank again, only this time ask them for a chargeback for the missing amount. Reason = promised refund not received.
You might want to read MSE's Chargeback article first.

Does this mean your other thread is due an update? ;)
