My dentist went private years ago and made me take up Denplan which covers things to some extent but not veneers. Spent £500 on veneers quite a few years ago which seems cheap now compared to the £516.17 I spent on having my cats teeth cleaned !!!!

417 for the rabbits! So much fun!

Rubbish weekend here, both dogs ill, at the vets and then shopping on Saturday, exhausted after all the faff at the vets

Sunday started fairly early on the garden, but literally EVERYTHING went wrong, things broke, sting nettles appeared from no where, things fell on me, flew at me, I can't dig, or drill or screw.

Luckily Mum made a roast dinner, so that perked me up.

    shattered now xxxxxx

  • Looked out at my progress when I finally got home from work. Not bad.

I can't spend anymore money EVER. The break in resulted in me buying locks and lights for the garden. Eye watering amount of money - although to be honest I probably do spend that much on Amazon...per week I mean. *sighs*

I am returning some clothes that don't fit and need to cancel an order I made. And I returned some M and S clothes too. I have about 6 (!) parcels to return to my lovely George. I do love their clothes.

And then I need to to have a big think.

Right now I need some chocolate.

  • Ok so today was fairly much a waste.

I killed myself at work this week so I would have a work free weekend and could do the stuff in the garden but it has rained all day.

I did go out and start but everything was already so bloody wet it was just miserable and I am so sick of it all. The lining of the shed has gotten wet and............to be brutally honest if the tax rebate comes through I will get the builder to finish it. I can't explain how I have lost interest or exactly what is going on with me at the moment. This week I went to the cinema and the next night to my friends' for dinner, I enjoyed both of these immensely. Laughed loads and felt relaxed. I am even ok at work.

But coming home to the mess and clutter. That is now getting beyond a downer. I came in this morning from the garden, sat in the conservatory that I have worked on so many times. It is again a mess. And I am ashamed. But had an empty day today - couldn't do the garden and I am so miserable but I didn't do anything. I made lunch and put one load of washing on. I have the "£$%^&* dentist tomorrow. I am broken. Sick of it all.

I need to do something. I don't know what.

  • Ok.
I took many many many deep breaths.
I reminded myself that I do NOT have a disabled partner and I am free to leave these choices I have made. I choose these obligations.

    I did my washing.

I looked (in horror) at my bank. I have 20 pounds till Friday - luckily I have everything I needed. I also made two decisions.

    1. I took out some money from my peer to peer investment to pay off part of my CC bill - for the dentist. It was a bit of a wrench but the CC is out of control!

    2. I am going to go out every week.

Also, I need to plan at school and do a little gardening each day this week. I know things will not get any better with out me making an effort.

  • Today at work was a killer I felt bloody terrible, I didn't have my protein shake (!) for breakfast and ugh. So they are I think doing me some good? just was hungry all day.

Plus I have a cold. Sniff Sniff.

Came home, had dinner (V nice)
    Fed dogs.
    cleared up
filled in this week's plans. (post pay day in desperate need of boots!)
went upstairs and did about 20 minutes decluttering.

spent two pounds on a school dinner which was GROSS

yesterday I bought the guinea pigs a new shelf. Life is exciting

got to paint that and another one. might do that tomorrow night

need to take the dog to the vets tomorrow.

    Watched the Body Guard. Good

Am watching Finding Eve - better.

    have a good week folks.

I didn't watch the Bodyguard but beginning to wish I did. Might download it on iPlayer.

Buffster you need to come up with another plan for finances.

The plan to go out once a week sounds great and will do you good :)

  • Hello all

Well I got my tax rebate.

It was not as much as I thought it would be.About 1650. Which is better than a poke in the eye with a pointy stick.

But not the 3500 I thought it would be!

    (as it was last time)

I think in future (as when I change jobs this is bound to happen) I will just leave it to the tax people. I feel like work are keeping my money!

I will ring the tax people in half term.

Oh I can say this here. I am developing a strange crush/genuine attraction to a new member of staff.

It is odd. I haven't really felt like this for a while about anyone. He is..... I don't ..We really hit it off. Like really. When he came for a visit/interview I laughed a lot. With him not at him ;)

And now, we just get on. I did blush massively yesterday when helped me with something. But generally he is easy to be round. But he does get a bit flustered around me....tee hee.

Anyhow he is with someone. As in has a girlfriend but wanted to finish things (he sort of blurted that out) and hasn't found the right time, big shared friend occasions coming up. So he is off limits for various reasons

    1. girlfriend
    2. work together (against the rules)
    3. He is a vegetarian ;) and doesn't drink tea!! How would I cope...

But over the last few weeks I have been quite enjoying the fancying stage and it has lead to a slight reassessment on the relationship front. I didn't think I could get butterflies but apparently I can! So who knows! Maybe in 2019 I will have a look.

It is 88 days till Christmas and I have 450 in the bank for it. I now have 1850 in savings.

I still have a 600 pound CC bill tho. Pretty clear to see that I have been SUPER depressed and buying all the !!!! in the world.

and my shoulder hurts. SO much.

But I am watching Elementary. I love that programme!

    xxxxx
