  • Hello guys, sorry for digging up this slightly old thread but i have a question about it and didnt want to start a new thread.

So the idea with the golden ticket is that the "Protections of Freedoms Act" is missing off of the back of the letter.

My question is is does that information need to be on both PCN letters?
(Yes i didn't act quickly enough and another one came though)

I have been reading the NEWBIES thread and am following the advice.
    Background for my situation:
    Motorway Services UK - ParkingEye

Complain to local manager offering to pay the actuall £15 fee. No admitance of being driver. Rejected.

Submitted appeal on ParkingEye site. Waiting for reply.
So i am fully expecting to get an POPLA code and appeal to them. I noticed the clause where the protections of freedom act needs to be on the back.
Well it is only on 1 of the 2 letters i have got. So can i use that clause in my appeal?

Thanks in advance. Hope this makes sense.

If it’s on the first letter, one’s enough. New thread please for any further advice, after reading the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #3 about how to draft your POPLA appeal.

The POFA wording doesn't go on the Reminder, which is a piece of rubbish to bin, anyway.

Hi - new to all thsis but a friend seems to have a Golden Ticket - no mention of POFA and posted out by parking eye outside of the 14 day limit - wasn't even issued until 19 days after the alleged incident . Where do I find the Newbies thread re popla appeal (already had 'appeal' refused by Parking Eye)?

    Hi,

I received two PCNs last year. One of them was issued more than 14 days after the incident but the other one was within the 14 days. They were both asking for a discounted charge of £60. I was told by the company I was visiting that I could park there and there was lots of other available free parking places at the time. Now I have received a letter from Gladstones Solicitors in order to pay them £320 regarding the unpaid PCNs. Should I make a response? Would you please advise me on what to do? Thanks a lot
