Turn on ringer for wharfedale phone!?

Hi, I've recently bought a used Wharefdale SN100-1 cordless home telephone, and although it rings when its on the base-unit, the handset itself, doesn't ring out loud when its away from the base-unit!
It's not broken, I just need to know HOW to activate/switch on the handset ringer please!??

Cant seem to find a manual anywhere ( although i only looked for a minute or so)

I found a couple of places that claimed to have the manual to download but you had to register to get it and I'm not sure I'd recommend that. I had a look on the Wharfedale site but clicking on the All manuals link on their support page returned an empty list.

There was a thread about turning on ringers a few weeks ago, not sure if it was resolved but lots of help guidance was given. Try searching and see what comes up.
