    It tends to be the newer they are, the worse they are to take apart...in days gone by lappys were made to be serviced, but these days they are built almost to be thrown away at the first failure. It's a shame, but with the costs of buying hardware being much less than it used to be can make repairing non-viable to the average punter (and the companies then sell more units=more profit for them :( )
