I fine the points in Boots doesn't make up for inflated prices/temptation when in there! Branded make up when you're spending quite a bit always go to Boots or Debenhams. Also I am a branded cleaning product snob too and go through so much and def Home Bargains for me too! Have a good weekend xxStarting debt £18,675.63

Hi Rachel24
How are things going ?

Sorry not kept up to date in a while. I'm continuing to make minimum payments but clearing one debt at a time. I've paid my bank of Scotland overdraft. Now aiming to finish clearing my royal bank of Scotland overdraft when I get paid at the end of this month then will clear my next account as the interest on that is really high!
I've been using the PA survey site which I've made about £60 so far. I downloaded receipt hog too. No idea how long it'll take me to make money but for only posting my receipts I can't complain!
Been off sick the last 2 days as been feeling awful but back to work tomorrow and aiming for NSD the rest of the week. I started a second job. It's not much money extra a month about £100 but it's all going to my debt as determined to get rid of it once and for all.0 -
Sounds like you are doing really well and are keeping the focus going, well done you

Thanks Hun, I still have my low days. Like today I feel like my debt is never ending :-(
Ive been offered overtime this month though which is great. An extra £125 in my pocket at the end of October so will be putting that towards one of my credit cards0 -
Morning diary
I've decided I'm going to write my spends every day. After reading misstara's diary it inspired me. So today will definitely be a spend day as I've got a wedding today. Other half is driving as he has a half marathon next weekend. I'm bringing £20 with me and no more. Then from tomorrow until Friday I'm aiming for NSD's. I keep nipping out at lunch and getting a boots meal deal but this money should be going on my debt.
Hope everyone has a great weekend0 -
Morning diary
Well I only spent £5 last night! I have £15 left in my purse which I'm putting in a box until next Sunday when I'm away out all day with my other half for a half marathon. Today will be a NSD just going to do some cleaning. I bought oven pride which I saw someone had recommended so going to try that out. So sad I know!0 -
Hope you're getting ok Rachel
I feel i've lost my way with tackling debt so I am going to try and record my spends for October, hopefully on my diary but def on a bit of paper at least!
Hope you have a good weekend xx
p.s I love Ovenpride too!Starting debt £18,675.63

Hi Rachel :hello:
Thought I would return the favour and have a wee read of your diary
Your doing really well with tackling your debt well done on clearing one account, the momentum does go up and down with paying off the debt but just think of all the spare money you'll have once you've paid off all the debts off .........that's what I'm aiming for anyway xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050
