New Indigo payment system, bought ticket but Penalty notice issued

Hi all,
Firstly a big thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum - it's been so helpful in the past!
I park regularly at Redhill Train station and use the indigo app to purchase daily tickets. Their system recently changed so on the first couple of days I really struggled on multiple occasions because the final "submit" button didn't show a few times to process my payment.
I then received an on-screen confirmation of my payment but didn't get an email confirmation as usual (not something I ever look for as I assume it would happen automatically as usual so I didn't notice until I received my yellow parking ticket!)...
I've taken screenshots throughout the process as I was pretty frustrating re-entering my details multiple times with the submit button not showing up and not wanting to get caught out!
The breach code is 1 - failing to display a ticket, which I wouldn't have done anyway as it was an online ticket.
I returned to a windscreen penalty charge notice - an issue a know to point out having read the newbies comments etc: parking charge vs penalty charge.
I wanted to check should I confirm myself as the driver to be able to refer to my online challenges with the new app system?
Should I also wait to beyond the 14 days as agreed or will it make a difference if I say I was the driver?
Appreciate your insight.

then ask yourself as KEEPER if INDIGO have the right to issue penalty charge notices - period
NEVER tell these fools who was driving , it wont help your case
and the TOC are unlikely to take you to a magistrates court for alledgedly breaking the bylaws which might be where the ticket machine system/app comes into it
the BLUE TEXT appeal is all you need on day 26 following the windscreen ticket0 -

A poster last week was the first person we've seen actually lose a POPLA appeal re a railway station, and we believe he would have won if he had not outed himself as driver.
Have a look at the Lewes station one - saves us typing it all out again! Just look on page 1 or 2 tonight and it's there for you to read, POPLA stage and all, or search the forum for 'Lewes'.
EDIT - I see Redx has linked it for you, saves us repeating ourselves when you get to POPLA stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

I think the poster who lost at POPLA last week was appealing an NCP ticket - a Parking Charge Notice issued under contract law rather than a Byelaws "penalty".

I got an email from POPLA on 10th July confirming they've still got Byelaws cases on hold. Supposedly this doesn't include contract tickets on Byelaws land, like NCP 's ones.0 -
Thank you for your replies everyone. Will wait it out and keep fingers crossed.0
