Curiously, I think that Zoopla and Landc are both over-valuing my house by 30%. I'd be delighted to sell at the price they quote.
Zoopla overvalued my previous house too when I was buying it for somewhere around £150k (just under 30%) :rotfl:

Obviously now and again it'll 'in the vague ballpark...' but, from my experience, it's only ever near when the house has just been sold and their records are updated to reflect that.
2024 wins: *must start comping again!*

    What they've said....
Over-paying with hard work guts and determination. Everything the HPC crazies lack.

They really are a thoroughly odious bunch, oozing regret and envy.

That particular thread has now evolved into a rather erudite discussion on the relative merits of MSE compared to Mumsnet.

Here's what the ever charming Count of Nowhere has to say on Mumsnet contributors, in his own mysoginstic inarticulate manner:

Mumsnet is a set of rather board/overlay hormonal/menopausal women who quite frank should put down their tablets, cancel facebook and go down the pub looking for a good pumping.
  • I do believe that the relevant authorities are closely monitoring that vile website and its affiliates. Some of the disgusting characters that crawl around that cesspit have threatened violent sexual acts on perfectly innocent landlords and homeowners. One animal even performed an utterly unspeakable act with a golf umbrella.

    They played golf under it?

The misogyny hardly surprises me - HPC trolls react in the same way to not having a girlfriend as they do to not having a house.

The fact that this particular thread has elicited over 13000 responses speaks volumes to the sort of women hating thugs that frequent hpc:

    I work for a lender.

We work on the basis of a RICS valuation ,they are usually pretty accurate as they use a standard methodology so should be consistent. That said, some have been a tad optimistic recently. We get a 90 day and full valuation (the price we can get in 90 days (auction) and with the normal marketing period of a year)

A customer valuation is completely ignored. We don't even record them post completion.

I'd trying another lender for a different valuation, it shouldn't be different but you never know.

What an utterly, utterly, despicable thread. Each time I witness a new low in that vile cesspit I never think that they could ever sink any lower. And each time I am sadly proved incorrect. Have you ever read such vile hatred towards women? There mothers/wives/girlfriends/sisters should be made to read through each and every single one of their postings. I think that the authroities themselves would have a very fruitful time analysing these lunatic loners hard drives. Thank you for bringing this thread to our attentions.
