Samsung Mobile problem - dodgy earpiece

Has anyone had any joy getting a warranty repair by Samsung? My 2 month old S7 is sounding very sibilant through the earpiece when being used as a normal phone making it nigh on impossible to hear what the person on the other end of the call is saying. The online retailer I bought it from only do 30 day refunds, so recommended I take it directly to Samsung.

I have taken it to two Samsung shops and they say it sounds fine yet friends of mine have also listened to it and say it sounds like there is something loose in the earpiece.

It has never been dropped or immersed in water.

Any suggestions? Has anyone successfully taken it up with their credit card issuer? The phone is over the £100 threshold for liability.

Its the vendor that's responsible under your consumer rights and you can pursue a claim for up to six years .Up to six months the onus is on the vendor not you .
Have you tried a different earpiece ?

It's the actual bit of the phone you put your ear to when using normally like a phone unfortunately :(
