Virgin mobile - great customer service
Hi everyone, I just wanted to call out some fantastic customer service I've had from Virgin mobile I've been on a 30day SIM only deal with them for probably 3-4 years for £7/month. To start with I was getting 250min, ultd texts, and 500mb data, just over 2 years ago I called and asked how much they would charge me for an extra 500mb and they said as a goodwill gesture they wouldn't charge me for it and I have been getting 1gb at no extra cost ever since, right now our broadband (nothing to do with Virgin) is off for 2 weeks and again I called on Friday and let them know that and asked how much I would be for more data, this time they've given me an extra 2gb at no cost to me I know this probably does actually cost them anything but they could easily have charged me for it.

have you moved over to 4G or does your phone not support it ?0

Not sure if my phone supports it, I'm quite happy with 3G though, don't want to spend a lot on my phone.0

I'm happy with your happiness.
It means we had on average normal experience, because mine was more than horrible, one month hassle with number porting in and out, nearly lost my number, they tried to charge me for non-existing services and sent debt collectors using comic sans in official letters. It ended with ombudsman.0 -
I am currently with Virgin Mobile and they give me 5000 minutes, unlimited texts and 40GB of data for £15.77 a month. I get the data rolled over, it should be only 20GB, not sure why they are giving me more but not complaining? It used to be £15 a month but has gone up recently. I could ring up and get it down but I am guessing that they would put me into a 12 month contract, because they have got rid of their 30 day rolling contracts. Do you think others like GiffGaff and PlusNet will move away and start with 12 month contracts0

Whether TV, Broadband or Mobiles they are always open for a deal. I think Lord Sugar would be proud of me with my negotiating skills.0
