Wow. Busy day...
No, I don't get school holidays, but 6 of my settings are term time only, so they close they end of next week. And, at the moment I'm so part time, that I really can't complain. (This is likely to change, but not just yet)
Sleep well

Evening :wave:
Your contract sounds pretty good Wish - school hols are fab when you have little ones, particularly when they start school
Love baby steps RT:) , makes you feel like you're getting somewhere. I get a bit demotivated if I don't feel like I'm achieving so every little step is progress:). Not surprised you're wiped out in this heat, it's lovely but exhausting!
Today has been a good day. Work's still nuts but I've wrote a to do by the end of term list. It's massive :eek: but at least now I have a plan. In money news I os £13.54 of work expense that were paid this week and did a 30p tt. It wasn't a no spend day as we needed fruit, milk and yogurt. I also needed chicken breasts as they were out of stock in Aldi (again :mad:). They had two 600g bags for £5 in Asda which was a bit more expensive but it saves me the hassle of having to pop into Aldi to check. Total spends was £9.53 which included a 10p farmhouse loaf and two 20p punnets of plums :money:
Other small steps to success and my overall well being included;
Drank enough water
Spin class done - it was so hot :eek:
lo for lunch and hm chicken and mushroom pie for dinner
Lunches ready for tomorrow
Laundry done and on the line
Helped ds with some 'life laundry'
Started making plans for the weekend. The kids are away and my sister is looking after dad so I intend to be very self indulgent:). Time has been in very short supply of late so I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going to treat it like a mini break:)
I'm off to bed as I pooped (again!), I'm such a lightweight:rotfl:
Happy Tuesday to you:)

You're not a lightweight, you're doing really well! And I find sleep is essential, likewise to-do lists

Evening :wave:
Thanks Karma, only 6 days now :j. Things are just manic at the moment so I'm very much looking forward to a gentler pace where I can bring some calm and order to my home, catch up on the mfw diaries, exercise and sleep
Today has been a good day. I had a busy morning followed by a peaceful afternoon which was lovely. I had a wander round our local charity warehouse after work and although I spent £15 i got some real bargains including a signed and framed limited edition print, a food processor, a DVD box set, various good quality utensils to replace some of my rather tatty, cheap ones, a wholefood cookery book, two loaf tins, a bundt tin, a giant yorkie tin and a batch of assorted gift bags. Got the lovely man that doesn't add stuff up and says call it £x for the lot,:p Well chuffed:)
I was less chuffed later on when my car started to vibrate and make a loud noise and the engine warning light came on:( Hope it's not going to cost a fortune:eek: I've left it at the garage and arranged a lift into work so hopefully they'll be able to fix it before the weekend.
My grocery budget is being challenged! The kids are around a lot more at the moment which is lovely but they're eating me out of house and home:eek: DD is saving for her hols so isn't eating out at all and is doing much of her socialising at home (,that's my girl:)) and DS has started work and is finding that plus sport is leaving little time for anything else so he's out much less too. I had another £7.02 on salad, grapes, bananas and 36 (!!!) loo rolls. I've now got about £28 left with one weekly shop and a top up to go so we're going to be overThe freezer is full but a lot of what's in there isn't ideal in such hot weather hence the endless fruit and salad top ups! On the plus side personal spends are very low
Small steps to success included;
Stretched 3 smallish chicken breasts to make 5 dinner portions and three lunch portions by chargrilling them and slicing them and mixing with pesto, pasta and olives and serving it with salad leaves and ys ciabatta.
Lo for lunch and porridge for breakfast
Laundry done, folded and away. There is a whites load in the machine but this will have to go on the airer as we are forecast rain - imagine that :rotfl:
Swept the kitchen floor
Swallowed a frog - letter
Drank enough water
I'm off to bed now so happy nearly Friday to you:)

Morning :wave:
I've woken early but feel more refreshed than I have all week as I've slept really well:). The laundry is hung out and I'm having an hour reading in bed with a large coffee - Saturday morning bliss.
Last night just disappeared with helping out mum and dad and sleepiness but today is going to count! I'm not sure which order but plans include;
A walk
A run
A picnic
A box set, curry and wine
In terms of less fun items I also need to do the food shopping as we are out of fruit and salad - again!
In money news yesterday would have been a nsd apart from the car - £148:eek: but it's done and was done quickly. It's also lovely to drive and the problem was a cylinder part so it such also be back to maximum fuel efficiency:D
5 more working days until my summer holidays :j
Happy Saturday to you:)wave

You're setting up your summer holiday to be one long period of bliss! Great to have a nice weekend *before* the summer finish, so many teachers I know just keep going, and then lose the whole first week of their holiday to feeling awful/being in recovery. Have a lovely, lovely weekend.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
