    Me too - although the ynab mantra is to give every dollar a job... they are missing out on the joy of the tilly tidy if they don't tidy up the pennies/cents.

    I could allocate every penny a job.

    Evening lovely peeps, so nice to have visitors:):)

    Today has been lovely and sunny, a bit chilly but a definite improvement on recent days :j. It never ceases to amaze me how much it lifts my spirits and boosts my energy.

    I've had a nicely balanced day of chores and fun:)

    On the chores front I ;

    Cleared the rest of the branches :j:j. so I have a patio again :)
    Got the laundry line dried and put away
    Hoovered down stairs - cordless hoovering is a revalation!
    Did ds a revision timetable
    Paid cheque into the bank and did final money shuffles
    Prepped a veggie casserole to go in the sc in the morning using up veg that needed using

    In terms of my general well being I balanced these with;

    Coffee in bed and an hour's reading
    Went for a run and did 20 mins weights
    Had a cup of tea with my sister
    Called in to see mum and dad
    Went to a friend's for coffee - Sat in her garden and had a nice chat and a good laugh:)
    Time with the kids :)
    Watched an episode of Peaky Blinders

    It wasn't a nsd as I got ds new earphones and four cans of zero sugar drinks to take to cricket (I'd rather he didn't drink them but he does so at least this way they are 1/4 of the price and better for his teeth and sugar levels). I also got a dusting noodle:). I thought about our lovely Cheery Daff as I chose a lime green one because it looked so cheerful:):). So £3 spent, thank you £land :money:

    I held off the food shop but had to get milk so I called in at reduction time and stocked up on bread rolls, fish, pre cut veggies and a posh veggie lasagne that should have been £6 :eek:. £4.26 spent so delighted with that:) :)

    Spends for April are ;

    Grocery £124.74/ £128 although I did put bulk purchases of wine and popcorn on my annual spreadsheet rather than my monthly.The wine was £108 and should last me 12 months if I stick to my 2 bottles a month limit :o (I have £5.25 cb pending on this)and the pc was £5.87 for 5kg once I'd knocked off the late delivery discount of £3 and should last 2 - 3 months.

    Personal :o:o £87.39/£46 :eek: This was my wardrobe sort out and revamp. It feels bad to be over budget but I did spend wisely at cs,eBay and Primarni at got Clarke's summer shoes, knee length leather boots for next winter as my work boots have had it, Dune wedges for work, an evening dress, two holiday dresses, four phase eight work dresses , 9 pairs of tights, masscara, a shower puff, hair colour and some lip balm so at least my money went a long way:). Two dresses weren't quite right so they're going back on eBay so I should recoup a bit.

    Fuel £52.12/£120. Two weeks off work and some lift sharing :money::j

    There were also £48 of annual spends on a few bits for the house and garden , a coup!e of bargain gifts for my stash , a 6kg kettle bell and some repairs to my bike (which I count as a health and well being spend which it is as I've done two big and one huge bike ride since it was fixed and have used my kettle bell most days:)).

    All in all not a bad month for spends - just itching to do my totals now :rotfl:

    Happy Saturday :)

    I hate dusting Cheery but think I might quite enjoy flitting round with my cheerful lime green noodle :rotfl:

    They've got a smaller, oblong version in £land and also a telescopic one for cobwebs. The noodle bits come off and are machine washable. They're fab, especially if like me, you're easily pleased :rotfl:

    Have a good Sunday in your lovely , new home :)

    Morning :wave: I've only just woken up! Not like me at all but I feel so much better for it:). I'm back in bed with a large coffee and will not be moving until 8.45 :)

    Today's list is some of the things that didn't get done yesterday and a few new ones:p

    Rinse lentils, add to sc I prepped yesterday and leave on low while I watch ds play cricket:D

    Clean car - it's not awful but I've decided I like it clean!

    Put naan dough in the bm and make some for the freezer to go with curry later in the week and some flat breads for pulled pork wraps on Tues when we're all busy and dinner needs to be quick.

    Prep roast dinner

    Summer clothes need sorting out but realistically this might need to wait until next weekend.

    Some sort of exercise - not sure what, I'll see how I feel :)

    Happy Sunday :)

    :hello: Morning Pinky

    I am in awe of your MSE ways, having just tracked my spends for a month a spent 3 times what you spent on clothing and other personal spends, I definitely need to take a leaf out of your book. The amount of stuff you got for £87 is incredible :T
