00:08 and 00:09 from TSB. I only have one account too (unless the unused savings account that my 5% saver converted into counts.)

An 'issue' to keep your head down about when you have multiple accounts with the same provider IMO.

    ?

The 'issue' is about receiving multiple emails about the same topic in relation to the same account.

I have only one Halifax branded account yet received two identical emails informing me of the annual reward amount.

I'm thinking of going back to all paper correspondence, the number of bloody emails I get telling me an important message has arrived in online banking, checking that I open it, telling me a new statement is available etc etc.

Its all doable but wasting my time. Better a pile of paper that you sometimes need anyway or they charge to print and send it.

Anyway, last night I received 12 messages for 2 accounts. Yes, 6 pairs of identical emails sent over a 3 hour period.

The issue is made worse due to multiple accounts. In the OP case its made twice as bad.

What's weirder is for my paperless account, they sent me a statement in the post covering the last 8 months. A really strange period to send.
I have a number of TSB current accounts. All paperless, for statements and correspondence, and all are older than 12 months. They have all been getting the same interest payments each month.

They never sent me a monthly paper statement (yet!), but for one of the accounts, I had the annual interest statement in the snail mail about a couple of weeks ago. I went online and double-checked - - the account is still on paperless, and it's essentially the same as 2 others that were opened on the same day. All three of them had the paperless interest statement, too. CBA to contact them to ask about it as all that counts for me is that they pay the monthly interest, which they have been doing so far without fail.

Yes, I have read the original post. More than once.

I still don't see the relevance of your comment about multiple accounts in post 10.

Anyone who has multiple accounts with an institution and is using them to accrue benefits (maximise interest etc), and even though they may using them within the T&Cs, would be daft to highlight (to the institution) small 'issues' that occur in case said institution starts to look further into how the customer is actually using these multiple accounts.

That's my take on it anyway.

Part of the problem appears to be folk receiving texts or emails in the wee small hours.

Solution: Don't take your phones to bed with you.

I'm afraid it's you who hasn't read or understood. :T

Number of accounts is irrelevant, it's getting the same message twice (or even more) for an account that's the problem.
