How many repeat emails must Halifax and BOS send?

Surely I can't be the only one. "Important information about your account" email (interest summary, account statement, etc.), followed by another copy and another...
Halifax and BOS always send two at a time. I had always though this was in case one fails to get through, although in reality it must cause both to be filtered as spam for some.
Anyway, last night I received 12 messages for 2 accounts. Yes, 6 pairs of identical emails sent over a 3 hour period.

You've forgotten to ask how much compensation you are owed
. These things happen. If you get too many in future let them know. 0 -
In a similar vain, I got a text from TSB at 12.35 AM. To tell me my application was being processed. Not acceptable.0

Text messages can get held up by your provider, lack of signal/service etc. It has not been uncommon for me to receive a text message hours, even days, after my girlfriend has sent has sent one to me.0 -

Quite true, the original SMS protocol allowed up to 7 days for transmission.
If you look at a really old phone like an early Nokia or Ericsson they had a specific setting to reduce the maximum time allowed for text messages to send.====0 -
00:10 and 00:29 from Halifax this time. Wouldn't it be better if the second was triggered if the message hadn't been read in say a week?0

I've been getting these multiple emails for several weeks now.
Some of the documents are also useless once you download them, e.g. one which is just my account details with a copy of the statement reverse information page, which is found in every PDF download.
What's weirder is for my paperless account, they sent me a statement in the post covering the last 8 months. A really strange period to send.0 -
I always get multiple emails for all of my HBoS and TSB accounts. Latest batch from TSB @ 00.29 this morning:(0

An 'issue' to keep your head down about when you have multiple accounts with the same provider IMO.0

I only ever get the two emails at once scenario.0
