They tell me they don't use cctv .. just cameras in and out . Not sure if there is cctv I did ask them in first contact to ParkingEye .
.. I wouldn't make it up what's the point if I had just outstayed due to shopping I could understand it and I would more than likely paid the charge . How much more
    evidence could I supply ?

Coupon-mad should I send the draft / letter you have written to POPLA after their response to my complaint?

    I would

forget about CCTV , its not relevant to private parking cases and you would not have access to it even if there was any that was taken and not overwritten

ANPR cameras and/or hand held cameras are used in private car parks, so dont let CCTV sidetrack the main issues

and yes keep your MP onside, especially as it seems that other MP,s are taking an interest at the moment (the private members bill and comments by Jacob Rees Mogg etc)

    I agree Redx.

If Geoffrey wants to get seriously involved here in giving good advice, he needs to move away from his inclination to throw in hypotheses and other non-starters, which really do create a distraction (and false hope of 'ways out') for naive newbies.

It's up to you whether you are as rude as the draft I wrote (tongue in cheek) mentioning to POPLA '''parking scammers'' and then asking ''Are you all specifically trained on how to fob off the general public?'' It's a bit of a rant! not going to get them onside, on second thoughts.

If you prefer a more polite follow up then re-write it (personally I detest templates, people should always write their own complaint, IMHO).

I think complaint again to Popla wont have any effect I feel unless I had a photograph of the flat tyre nothing will change and they won't refer to the lead adjudicator to take it back to ParkingEye for mitigating circumstances!
The manager of the car park has received the original parking charge is looking into it
Awaiting further contact from my MP
I have an awful feeling this is going to end up in court 🙁

I have found another text message on my phone to the mechanic saying I had a flat tyre and was calling in , shows date etc

There's no right or wrong answer to your question. Ultimately you have to do what you think is right.

They may have let your contact with them slip their minds and be grateful for a gentle reminder. On the other hand they may think you're pressing them too hard for an urgent response, which might just jiss them off.

Sorry, but we don't have the perfect answer to the myriad of random questions thrown our way every day.

In your place I'd give it a few more days then send a gentle and polite reminder - 'I know you are very busy but was just wondering if you had news of any progress made in relation to my recent contact with you about ...........'.
