Other than the obvious like towels/swimmies/suntun lotion/clothes/shoes etc..........

We don't take our own towels, but always always have a set of tweezers with us.
    And spare contact lenses.
And a puzzle book to do when I'm awake in the middle of the night cos I'm jetlagged.
And spare 'ladies things' incase the unexpected happens.
And wipes- cos upset tums are easier to bear (pardon the pun) when they are being gently cleaned.:rotfl:

Unless you are visiting the Panan in Sarawak you won't need the net hammock ,fire starter, magnifying glass,or purification tablets but just a good book plenty of cash for the good nights out your'll be having.

In addition to some of the above - cameras, one of those combi pliers, screwdriver etc thingies (cheapo Leatherman), small torch, first-aid stuff (plasters, antiseptic etc), mozzie killer, spare specs, Nationwide cash and credit cards.

The Weird One - an egg-cup (much classier than trying to flatten the bottom of an egg).

My favourite one (already mentioned) - bottle/wine opener...

Mmmmm, I would never have thought of an egg cup! Thanks for the other suggestions too.
