    Go to your local independent tyre fitter - virtually guaranteed to be able to supply and fit four new tyres quicker & cheaper than anyone else. I wouldn't worry about the make, I've had cheap Chinese Landsail tyres on my Suzuki for four years - they were used when I bought the car, fronts have just been replaced due to suspension wear, they're quiet, good in the wet - can't see any downside. I had a set of Event tyres on my Renault 4x4, lasted for over five years and again no problems. I find a lot of the expensive makes (especially Pirelli) massively overpriced & hugely over rated.
  • Not sure if you got your self-sorted with this but it may be worth jumping online and doing a few comparisons between the below;
    asdatyres.co.uk
    tyresonthedrive.com
    cartyres.com
    tyre-shopper.co.uk

    These sites do offer good prices and as said before I wouldn't worry about going for one of the big brands. The budget tyres are just as good as they have to be :)

    tyre-shopper.co.uk is a good one. Buy online for delivery and fitting locally (I think its national tyre centers that do the fitting). Full choice of tyres at all prices. Cheapest branded tyres i have been able to find.

    You don't have to fit your own with Black Circles.You can buy them delivered to fit yourself (or to arrange local fitting yourself), or, for delivery to one of their approved fitters, which is a pretty extensive network.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • F1 quote for new tyres only.

    My point was that the standard isn't very high :)

    Although, to be fair, quality remoulds can be a LOT better than some ditchfinders.
