Lebara Mobile - issues!?

Hi

As talkmobile are ending their PAYG tariff I'm trying to move to Lebara as they seem the next cheapest option.

Started off well with receiving my SIM after a few days, got my PAC off talkmobile instantly but now the troubles starts......

To transfer my old number to Lebara they need my PAC however whenever I call their automated customer services costing 19p I either get randomly cut off or when I successfully get as far as selecting the option I need, the automated message loops around to the beginning again getting nowhere. Very VERY frustrating!!

I assume their system is getting overloaded with old talkmobile customers.... I don't know but will keep trying grrrrrrrr!!

Anyone else experiencing issues like this?

If this call charge is more than would be charged for an equivalent call to an 01, 02 or 03 number, they are breaking the law.

See Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

They may be cheap, but if you're having issues at this early stage I'd be having second thoughts.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Got through via fb and they are porting my number over. However.... because I'm porting my number over to a SIM only card I don't get their super good deal of:

1st month free, £5 2nd and 3rd month then £9 thereafter for 500mins, 500 international mins and 1 gb.

Instead I get the same tariff but for £10 / month. Still miles better than vodafone though (the only decent signal I get at home).

2GB data (not 4G tho), 1000 UK and international mins, 1000 UK texts for £8
