I love my post hit too but imagine all the post you should have come next Thursday, I'm quite excited actually!
unfortunately if its like the last time the strike was on it could take over a month for the backlog to clear, and a large proportion of mail went "missing". So to be honest i'm kind of hoping i haven't won anything over the next week because i'd be gutted if the prize went walkies0 -

in the last round of strikes my postman was off the first couple of days strike but then he was in on the rest. He said that he wasnt in the union but was going to have to go out in support of the others that were. Guess its a wait and see game to see whether the postman comes! Ive been out to the supermarket this morning about 10 mins drive away and havent seen a single postman, and normally would see at least one if not two!Weight Loss - 102lb0

A lot of Royal Mail people will be working over the next 5 days - a varying percentage of the postmen across the country (postmen do all the sorting mail-out at mail centres, and mail-in at delivery offices, not just delivering the post). In addition all the managers will be working, mostly on work normally done by the postmen so there will be a limited service. What this will be depends on how each area deploys the people it has available.0

Just read on the BBC website that after these strikes "There will then be a programme of rolling strikes starting on 15 October....The union plans to stage rolling strikes each Monday - starting this Monday at 0300 BST - until the dispute is resolved."
Doesn't really make sense...is it starting this Monday or next! suppose it doesn't matter its still happening either way.
