Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I am gradually, gradually improving.
I've nothing to report really as, aside from walking FDawg a couple of times a day (and it's a short walk at the moment), I am spending my time watching re-runs of M0r$£ and napping
I completely lost my sense of smell whilst ill which was weird and I think the reason why I also lost my appetite. My sense of smell has returned and I'm hungry enough to manage one proper meal a day - if fish fingers, chips and beans count as a proper meal :rotfl: The cough seems to be abating which should give my muscles the rest they need to heal. But I googled recovery times for pneumonia today and wish I hadn't
I did reconcile the accounts today and some balance. I've lost track of Mr F's expenses and we seem to have about £200 more than we should. I expect it will all come right sooner or later.
I'm going to give myself one more day of complete rest (it is Sunday tomorrow after all) then I'm going to try and start doing a little more. Do some healthier cooking for a start :rotfl:
Speak soon

I felt so much better yesterday and pottered around doing a little tidying. Had a good long shower and made myself some healthy meals. Then, just as I was getting ready to take FDawg out for his evening walk I coughed and something in my ribs popped
It hurt but not anymore than usual so I carried on and just took some strong painkillers before going to bed. Work up at midnight in absolute agony  Fortunately we have some prescription pain killers and anti-inflammatories in the house from when Mr F's back went out. So I've been taking those and feel slighty better this morning. Think I might have cracked a rib
I've called a friend who is coming over for the day to keep an eye on me and to walk FDawg. I'm going to monitor things before deciding whether a doctor's appointment is necessary. There's nothing that can be done for torn intercostals or broken ribs apart from pain relief so, unless there are complications, a doctor's visit won't help.
Meh
