Morning Fortune Smile! Just checking in - have loved reading your diary so far, the adventures of FDawg being my favourite! He sounds like a handful but one that seems to bring plenty of joy!
Looking forward to reading how you get on!

Hello Rocket :hello:
I sometimes wonder whether FDawg should have his own diary. The trouble is, he's not very MS :rotfl:All sounding good

Builder arrived today to sort some of the snagging out
He bought his friend the Groundworks guy and he's going to give us a quote for the drainage and drive work. It looks like it's going to hurt a bit - gulp.
Tiles turned up too so Mr F has a busy weekend ahead.
I have made a couple of Bay sales :T Saved a little on this week's grocery budget :T And didn't buy any wine at Book Club :T...I got there to find a note on the door saying it had been postponed until next week  Don't want to get too grouchy about it though in case their was a very good reason.
The sun was shining todayIf it stays tomorrow I might have to do some gardening
Happy weekend all

Mr F spent the day laying tiles in the barn and is almost finished. He just needs to do the edges now. Our trucks are tucked up inside for the night for the first time
I started a paintingI've been asked to do two WI paintings for the town show in August so wanted to get a head start. I can't tell you the subject matter as I'm sworn to secrecy
but I am pleased with the result so far. It's the first time I've painted in the new house and I'm surprised and happy to find that I'll have better light than I expected
FDawg was given the run of the place this afternoon. We were hoping he would hang out with Mr F in the barn but, no, he spent most of the time finding ways to get into the bottom field and roll in mud. We thought we'd blocked off all his usual routes but he must have found some new ones. I saw his wagging tail held high and disappearing over the horizon on several occasions from the kitchen window :rotfl: I don't think he ventured any further though which is a relief. I think he had fun and we didn't have to walk him separately this evening. He's certainly spark out now :rotfl:
I am hoping I'll be able to finish the painting tomorrow then I want to get into the annex and start working out what we've got in there and what we'll need. FDawg has special dog training in the afternoon and I've got lots of good news to report on our homework. He's socialised with lots of dogs now and has been fine so far. Although he met the Beagle twins this morning and found them a bit too full on.
I'm off to do some research now. The house is full of flies  I suspect they have been hibernating underneath the roof tiles and the longer days have woken them up. Anyhoooo, they are not welcome
Hope you're weekend is going well.

You have cluster flies? Mine are sort of hibernating in the attic some years - the loft hatch was disintegrating and a *lot* of them made it into the house proper. I'm hoping that doesn't happen to the same extent, now I have a new hatch.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
