Huge thank you both Fortune_Smiles and Beanielou
Got this one on Etsy, not exactly same shape as mine but bottom is right shape, this is closest I have ever found
Not sure I wanted to spend £12 but given that I cannot remember not having the current one as an adult pence per use must be tiny
It's from the North East of Scotland same as me so maybe we have a particular local shape??

FS - well done on discussing money with the kids!
As an adult child of a parent who doesn't, I have learned the hard way how to manage money & budget! We are now at the point where wills & poa need to be discussed and it is proving exceedingly difficult to extract the information from the parental without also having to wade through a good deal of emotional baggage.
Your frank conversations will be of huge benefit to the children - sending a huge applause for your forethought!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! My 3 kids (born late 70's early 80's) know the word but I don't expect my grandchildren do
I'm going to ask all 6 of them
I guess with the concept of overnight oats rather than making porridge in the morning it will have died out
Suffolk_lass I wish I had a family member who could make one, got lots of trades and specialities but not wood turning

Spurtle
something to stir your porridge with or when you can't help but chuckle with your mouth full? 😆
After our chat about random acts of kindness, I decided to send a little something out to the Younger Fortunates to lift their spirits ahead of Blue Monday. It was such fun finding something appropriate and thinking about what might make them laugh that I've already started planning how to spend February's budget 😁
We had Griddled Pear & Blue Cheese Salad for lunch which I used as a wrap filling. Supper was Beetroot, Halloumi & Cashew Curry with rice which I'm hoping will stretch to tomorrow's supper and a freezer meal.
Chores as all done and Mr F is going out to the barn this evening so I'm planning a bubble bath and a catch up on some more TV 😆 Am I making it sound as though I have a luxurious bathroom suite with built in media? I wish. I just perch my laptop on a stool next to the bath 😂😂😂
It's the weekend guys!
Fortune x
