    We wouldn't be able to prove it was 10-20 years old though. Suppose could take photos but again that won't prove age.

    There is quite possibly a manufacture date or model year on the plate that has the serial number.

    I would contact the LL directly and see what they say. Unfortunately, now that you have given notice on your current place you aren't really in a position to dictate terms to them, but they might well be reasonable and agree to have the unwanted items removed. If they don't then there is not much you can do as you don't have the time to find an alternative property.

    If they say that you have to store the items in the shed, then you should get in writing that you won't be responsible for any damage to the items.
