How to safely store a washing machine in a shed?

To be honest I think the LL or agent is just hesitant to remove for future tenant purposes.May total - £14350

If you're talking about keeping it over winter it's virtually inevitable that it's going to collect condensation, with all the consequential corrosion.0

It sounds like a total muddle and even if you can work through all of it to your satisfaction, I would be concerned that it's symptomatic of a chaotic landlord-agent-tenant relationship that will lead to problems greater than where to store a fridge.
How can you have any confidence in the inventory and the eventual return of your deposit when neither the landlord or agent seems to understand who owns what?0 -

No.Does anyone think it would be unreasonable for me to tell the agent we are not happy storing this stuff
Can you look elsewhere? On the basis of their mucking around and not adhering to the agreed arrangement you would be within your rights to demand the return of the agency fee. It depends how desperate you are. As per my post above, you might be worried about losing the property now and it might seem daunting to resume a property search, but if the agent and landlord are this useless over something as relatively minor as a fridge and a washing machine, I wouldn't bank on them being good if/when you need them to be such as when your heating breaks down, the roof leaks or when you want your deposit back.I'm worried that if I start whinging we will lose the property. We have paid the agency fees already0 -

If its rented as unfurnished its likely the fridge, washing machine and cabinet are there because there is a cost to disposing of them. Ask if you can dispose of the items rather than putting them in the shed. If they agree, in writing, keep the reply, offer them on freecycle.
Take pictures before disposing of them in case of claims of missing items. They sound worthless, pictures should show this.0 -
A 10 or 20 year old washing machine will have little or no value. Just binning it is one option. The other is to tell the agent it has stopped working and you are happy to use your own - and would they mind if you disposed of it!?0
