I am aware of the high incidence of non payers but am surprised at the amount of non paying buyers with very high feedback in the US - is this normal?

They bid on it thinking you're in America, and then panic when they realise your foreign.

For some reason some Americans are fearful of the world outside America.

Thought even with some customs i could save money. US sellers on the other hand think that $60 shipping was reasonable on a $35 item.

How much is the postage in the US???

It's because they have contracts with UPS/Fedex for domestic shipping, but then they insist on using it for international too, which costs far more than the postal service would.

All of mine have been cheap items as well with the postage to the US clearly shown. My latest one is closed tomorrow if buyer doesn't pay.
