    loobeylou, what a horrible experience. When did that happen ? as i was not aware of 3 generations of Britons ever being killed in Egypt while on holiday.

    Yes Sheel - thanks for supplying the information so that others could read about it - and yes, I remember now that it was Luxor, although I could not quite recall that when writing previously.

    There was a whole huge embarrassing row over the swapped bodies - it was something like the grandmother and her grandaughter were returned home for burial, but the bodies of the daughter and another foreign tourist were mixed up and ended up in different countries to where they should have been. Obviously both families were left with the wrong body. Absolutely tragic.

    I remember this too Loobeylou - it was very tragic. Two of the family's bodies were mixed up with Swiss and German victims. The identity-mix up led to the daughter being buried in Germany by mistake.
