Mar !!! :eek::eek::eek:
Well rehabilitation went well there , for a day or so at least . I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt in view of your devout praying . To whom was one actually praying may one enquire .
I did notice your careful edited quote from my post re the RV ,sky dish etc . What happened about the part mentioning the remains of passers by?
Does anyone recall a strait jacket in among the elephants and everything else ? If need be Hester may have to give an emergency loan of CHSs having first tied him on the boat to prevent further incidents in the canal .
We appear to have viper in our midst . Does anyone recall the lizards on Dr Who some years ago who looked like humans in suits and suddenly exposed their horrible interior ? I think we may have one here .
A call to arms fencers , if you're growing Kale sacrifice it for the cause , this is worse than Zombies . Everyone else raid the shops remembering to check prices and get the best offer . It's obviously the equivalent of Garlic for vampires .
You will note I did not colour the K word , thereby lies madness .
I am going to sit for a while in a darkened room clutching my sonic screwdriver . I only popped in to catch up and look what I found .

Ooooh - did anybody see V?? tv series many years ago?? It had alien lizards who looked like people until they started eating meeces...

Never mind lizards and zombies Mar. I have been known to bite children's heads off if pushed. I don't recall any government dictates that forbade it.
They missed a trick there.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Have you no shame woman ? How you can show your face and mention wee meeces defies belief . Remember on the SHTF thread how you wore me down until I had to let you take charge of the emergency chocolate ? We never saw that again did we ?
I think those of us who have taught or are now teaching mixed infants whatever they are called now should rise up and dael with the wee besom , lizard or whatever she is . I have enough protests , campaigns etc already but will join in here .
Maybe poor Monna triggered something by typing Herod .
Hester I did of course mean CHSs life jacket . You wouldn't dream of owning a strait jacket
Someone let me know when sanity returns . Oh Lyn mentioned mad march hares .
Choose your words carefully everyone . I feel we're on the spaceship with the Alien .

Oh mar, you did make me laugh re the mixed infants. It sounds such a quaint idea these days, doesn't it - girls and boys both in one playground while in "the Infants", then in "the Juniors" having separate playgrounds or at least separate entrances. I went to several different schools because my DF's job meant frequent moves, but I remember one of them had those entrances, and so did the one all three of our children went to.
Mar about the sherbet fountains, do you know that these days the liquorice "straw" has been replaced with a plastic one? Shocking, I call it!
nannywindow I loved Fry's Five Boys choc. They used to do "Milk Sandwich" and "Plain Sandwich" too. One consisted of 2 milk choc layers with a plain choc layer in between, and the other was 2 plain layers with a milk choc layer in between, but I can't remember which was which and it's irrelevant now anyway as both are defunct
OH got on all right at hospital, and as I thought, he'll be on stomach meds as soon as he can get to see the GP.0 -
The mice et the chocolate!! It wasn't my fault! And by eating the mice I was merely recycling the chocolate
;)
I blame my new diet. I've not been the same since I started it. All that protein has to come from somewhere you know!0 -
But it's JULY not March!!!
I do remember the series it was called 'V' and they ate guinea piggies too!!!0 -
Don't give any more ideas Lyn .
I did have my fears when she mentioned seeking out the duck or
whatever to check it's welfare and feed it breadcrumbs . Hansel and Gretel came to mind there .
I have a feeling she'll be starting a thread soon asking for tempting gingerbread recipes and sending the RV up a ladder to adorn the wee hoose . Luckily she'll eat it all first ..
It's so hot here now , quite nice earlier but not now .
Ivyleaf I'm glad to see things went well at the hospital .
Clarification for the greedy one when Monna spoke of biting childrens heads off she meant verbally .

Hi all
Oh no Mrs L ! My DD has just dropped off her 3 Guinea pigs for me to look after whilst she is on holiday. I shall have to stay awake all night and every night for two weeks in case they get abducted and eaten by them pesky aliens . You will find me in the dining room marching up and down with the meat fork in one hand and the sharpening steel in my other. Should I never post again rest assured that I fought off the emeny with all my might, but to no avail, alas. O woe is me, please bury me under the hollyhocks at the end of the garden. Adieu old friends, Adieu.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
