Just plan on keeping going ... he is almost on a parallel world to all of us .
Easy life with new gf , she has money .... time ... can run after him
Unfortunately if I ask him anything he just looks shifty ... can lie to my face then walk away .... don't know where the man I married is , this is so not him ...
But past the point of care now , let him do whatever , it may financially hurt us but otherwise we will be OK .
    He won't be OK , .give it 6 mth , a year , whatever
    His world will fall apart
kids are getting stronger , my head is now in place ,know what needs done and can't stop till I get there , lot of downs to come but more ups to look forward to , can hold this together as a family .

  • Morning all,

Monna I wondered about Karcher but as I often pull my own disappearing acts decided she must be busy. If she does read we're thinking of you.

Burtha, it sounds like the kids have caught on. I hope things smooth out with your DD's tests soon. Sounds like the DGC was a delight. You're doing fabulous. I don't think you're really mourning your ex, you're mourning the man you thought you married and that is hard, but when people show you who they are I find it is best to believe them.

Ivy, I've been known to make the bed around her. Make everything but leave the duvet rumpled where she is sleeping. However, I've found if I get the hair dryer out she evacuates sharpish so I don't have to risk her ire. She really is spoiled rotten. :o

OH's first day back with pupils. He is giving a big assembly today so was looking especially smart. Maggie the Cat decided today was ripe for brushing up against his trousers so he ate his breakfast while dodging her. :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm in work for some training, but only a partial day so will try to get a bit done at home before I go in. At the gym tonight w. OH after tea. Burrito bowls for tea tonight. Last night was mac and cheese, the leftovers are in my food flask for a test run.

Hugs to all who need them, and a quiet cup of tea watching the last of the sunrise for anyone who wants to join me.x

DH got a winner at the races! It paid for dinner at a lovely greek restaurant :) Not luck on the horses for me but I did find a last minute offer of 241 entry so I reckon that was a win, too!
    :money:

We enjoyed meeting up with BiL, too.

This evening we are entertaining our lovely friends. They are leaving their respective workplaces as early as poss and driving up to arrive about 5.15. I have, ahem, bought a readymade main meal (well we are on holiday!) which will be served with baked spuds and a nice salad. but I am going to make a blueberry tart for dessert. A mini cheeseboard and fancy biscuits with coffee will round it all off.

Right, morning cuppa has been supped, must get ready for the day ahead. 'laters :D

Quite sleepy atm due to meds - yesterday I went for a nap and slept for 3 hours, and still slept last night. I hope the side effects wear off soon!

I'm in shock. I bought the RV 2 packs of knickers in M&S yesterday, Didn't see a price anywhere near them but thought maybe £10 each (packs of 4). Utterly stunned at the till when the lady said "£36 please" !!!!

mar The RV must be wearing them a long time for you not to have paid a lot more. I have been paying £40+ for one pack for the last 5 years. There is usually only 3 pairs or even two. If DS wore the designer brands they cost over £50 for one pair.

They do not last very long either he is lucky to have a pair last a year.

DS was definitely a child in primary school the last time I paid as little as £10 for a pack of underpants.

Sainsbugs had them last year for £8 odd nm and M&Co have them now for £12. Wish I'd got. them there instead lol. It's his birthday on Fri so I told him them knickers are yer pressie.
  • Gosh and I thought the ones I bought ds2 in the Factory place were expensive - £12 for 3. Have to say I buy dh's in MrT.

£50 a pair - seriously? I wouldn't pay that for a bra, and to quote Peg Bracken, good engineering costs.
