Morning,
Had an interesting evening, especially when my line manager turned up but had fun either way and it was nice to let my hair down. Not got a hangover but I do feel a bit fuzzy and tired.
DH and the kids picked me up from the station, just after 10, so I didn't need to fork out £15 in taxi fares
Lots to do this weekend:- Washing
- Ironing
- Food shop
- Meal plan for the month
- Sort kids clothes out - eBay/charity shop/clothing bank
- Cooking
We have an Asda somewhere near to us, so I thought I might try and find it today.
I altered my NSD list to include the weekly shop, any top up shops are included too. What's not included is general nip to Tescos because I need one or two items that I didn't get at the weekend sort of thing (you know what I mean!)
One thing I do like about living around here, the school coach has been late most mornings to to the roadworks in the town, so they've revised the timetable and it'll be in place until the roadworks are completed in December.
I'm hopeful for an easy October. I have two birthdays, my SIL and BIL within days of each other, so I want to be organised for that.
Have a lovely day x0 -

Thanks HI, you too x0 -
Asda shop found and done, it's massive and has an Iceland over the way.
I also found whilst going through my sat nav, is there is an Aldi just not close enough to shop there. I think I'd use more diesel getting there than I would buying anything.
I have bought enough food for the next two weeks, so should only need a top up next week. Other household bits have been topped up too.
I do need to nip to Sainsburys tomorrow morning for some beef, neither Asda or Tesco had anything remotely big enough. Also need some yorkies and pork loin for the month.
My car has been filled up, so unless DH gets his hands on my car, it should last me the month.
Tried to hang the washing out but it promptly chucked it down, so had to resort to the TD instead. Typical!
Meal plan to sort next.
I spotted that Boots are doing Nicorette 2 for £20, tempted to buy DH a job lot.0 -
You're doing well on the food shopping.
It's chucking it down here too so I've got wet washing everywhere . It's lucky I've got two clothes horses! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Woo hoo! Happy 1st October.
Only 26 days until DH gets paid and 30 until I do.
Now I can properly get my goals going, I'm keen to try and get through October intact.
I've signed up for:
10 AFD's
10 NSD's
15 Lunches to work
Got a busy day today but I'm having a cuppa or two first.0 -
Hey purple, love your only 26 days to OH gets paid! I'm like that counting down to when the CC resets as OH pays it off each month as that is what we do our shopping and fuel spends on.
I love the 1st of the month to feel like a fresh start!0 -
Have a lovely day x
Good luck with the goals0
