we have discussed the date of CCJs before , I believe a CCJ does not show untill 28 days after the (paper) court , which makes your "paper court" , back in may , as the incident happened in november last year I find this very quick timing , and question if the correct protocol(timing) was used by gaulbladder and SIP ?

    No.

You get a ccj from the date it's handed down.

It stays on the register for 6 years unless paid in full within 30 days or you win a set aside or appeal the judgement successfully.

Yes I will. I'll have to ring them back tomorrow as doesn't look like they're going to get back to me.

No I won't defend it. I'll pay it just to make it go away. You were helping me in my other thread where I thought I was parking eye who'd issued it and deliberately sent it to the wron address. Turns out it's SIP Parking.

It's a shame you want to pay but I understand why. I suspect you have a very strong case as I can't see how SIP have followed due process.

    How do I find out?

Yes that's what he said. That I wouldn't win just because I wanted to get the CCJ removed; that wasn't a defence. My defence would be if I'd lost my appeal I would paid. I didn't receive any correspondence after I submitted my appeal so as far as I was aware they'd accepted it.

That won't work as reason(s) for winning a set aside .

Just confirms you want to clean your credit status of the ccj stigma.

Going to be hard without you getting any paperwork.

What was the timeline from initial pcn and date of ccj?

But that is ridiculous! Why is that not a defence? That's why I would have paid the fine if I knew it was being taken to the court. Is that not why anyone would pay a fine, to avoid a CCJ? As I wasn't given the opportunity to pay it, I now have a CCJ. So I'm in the same position as I would have been if I'd received an unsuccessful appeal. The only difference being I wasn't given the opportunity to pay it.

No point grumbling at the messenger.

As posted read up on grounds for getting a set aside!

No I know. I just am frustrated at the court system. That not wanting a CCJ on my credit file and not having the opportunity to prevent it, is not grounds to remove it.

    PCN 17th November 2016 - CCJ 8th June 2017

That is reasonable. The claim could have been issued around May 20

its not a %LOODY FINE , its an invoice that some trumped up £$%^% have used Stupid UK legislation and a set of ££%&*(*% solisitors called gladstones to add vastly inflated costs to

whilst you think its a fine , nothing anyone says will alter your way of thinking , find out the date the SSJ was issued , if under 28 pay it , if not , just do what you want
