hi, Im bit confused as the guidance is helpful but I dont find it very clear and I have difficulty understanding what to do next.
I received window ticket at waitrose 3 June for overstaying 5 minute limit, as I stayed 35 minutes in taxi/collection bay due to queues at tills....I have lodged online appeal to Brittania parking on day 27 (28 June) as recommended, no reply received yet.
What do I need to do next? I see that I should receive something by day 57, which by my calculations is 30 July. But do I need to do anything more? any help hugely appreciated.

Await popla code. All explained in the newbies FAQ thread0

It is not a fine.
If you have appealed, hopefully as keeper and not given away the driver's identity, you should get a response by day 35. If it has been rejected it should include a PoPLA code. Day 57 is the day by which a NTK should be received if a windscreen ticket was issued and the scammers wish to invoke keeper liability using the POFA 2012.
If you haven't had the NTK by day 57, good. It means you will win at PoPLA using non POFA compliant NTK. If however you gave away the driver's identity then the NTK, day 57, and the POFA 2012 are irrelevant.
So, wait until you get a cancellation (unlikely) or a rejection and PoPLA code. If these haven't arrived by day 35, complain to the BPA and DVLA, then wait for the BPA to sort it out.
Once you get a PoPLA code, you construct your appeal using all the relevant template points from post 3 of the NEWBIES.
What did the store manager say when you complained?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
I followed the guidance on the newbies thread and sent a letter as per template so as far as I know this only shows me as keeper, nothing received so far, today is day 46 by my calculations (ticket 3 june, today 19 july) .0

As I already said in post 4, if you haven't received a PoPLA code by day 35 after sending your appeal, complain to the BPA and DVLA.
If that is after day 56 from the day after the alleged event and you haven't received a NTK either, tell the BPA this and that you expect the PCN to be cancelled as they cannot hold the keeper liable. Just make sure you don't reveal the driver's identity. Only ever refer to yourself as The Keeper.
You should also complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

Write to the Waitrose CEO and ask him/her to explain why his/her local staff are lying to a genuine customer. Ask him/her what he/she is going to do to right this situation.
Before that, do a bit of homework with the council. Write (not phone) and ask them a) if they own the land and b) if they've contracted with Britannia. Enclose copies of responses to the CEO to expose the lies of the local store staff member in a feeble attempt to fob you off. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
