having problems with my combi boiler

Can anyone help me? My combi boiler only fires up when I put the timer on to heat the hot water. My central heating doesn't work. No heat to the radiators. As soon as I switch off the hot water, the flame goes out.

Hi
Your description is not very clear
A combi will only heat hot water when you open a hot tap, there is no timer
The c/h will have a timer ,

Hi
Thanks for your reply. I have a timer for both my hot water and central heating (Siemens). it has settings such as timer, programme, advance one hour etc. for the hot water and the c/h seperately.0 -
Hi
Please post the make and model of boiler!!! as a combi cannot be used in conjunction with a programmer for hot water so I'm a bit baffled.
Maybe it's a stored water one.?
