Hi,

I Was due leave Barcelona today, but due to a previous flight (not easyjet) having a technical fault on the runway, a number of knock on problems caused my flight to be cancelled. The next easyjet flight available was on the Thursday (we were due to fly on the Monday). I can't figure out if we are due compensation? The flight that had the fault was not an easyjet one but flights were leaving from Barcelona to Gatwick (e.g. BA still had flights on - albeit delayed).

We also had to purchase flights with a different company back to Birmingham as there was nothing available for a good few days and will then have to train back. Could we also claim for these tickets?

Grateful for any advice.
