Evening.

4 months ago noticed wet smell in our November 2015 new shaped TT 2.0 Diesel Ultra, currently on PCP.

Took to local Audi and diagnosed as faulty drivers door seal. Fixed, replaced seal

2 weeks later noticed smell again.

Took to local Audi dealer, diagnosed as wet carpets, replaced.

2 weeks later noticed smell again.

Took to local Audi dealer, diagnosed as residual moisture from previous fix, fixed.

Last week noticed damp smell again but only when hot weather (so a couple of cooler days did not notice).

Have advised local Audi dealer again. Going in again.

I have also advised Audi UK as we need to escalate.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue and escalated to a suitable outcome?

Do you clean your car with a pressure washer?

    No..........

To clarify Audi have admitted the issue is theirs, not mine.

It is nothing I have done, let's make that clear.

I'm no TT expert but that clue might indicate blocked/mal-fitted Aircon drain pipe.

Good shout but not that, its definitely ingress. The garage think that the underfloor is wet still. I'm worried about the electrics! :xmastree:

    Front and/or back carpets wet?
Park under trees a lot or in a muddy areas?
if front and yes there will be drains under the bonnets or wheel arches to check they are not clogged.
have you checked if the pollen filter is wet?

All done by the Audi dealer.

    Front carpets.

    Not under trees, no mud.

They have stripped the car apart.

Total cost to Audi so far £2500 not inc. labour.

No. Just smelly. Although I have not taken the carpets up. That's Audi's job.

It is going in again for their 'specialist valeters' (the R8 team) to have a look at it in a couple of days.

I hope it gets sorted this time!
