Vodafone are refusing to provide the unlock code, here is their communication,

"Here is an update on your request to unlock your phone so you can use it on a different network. We are unable to help with this at the moment.

What does this mean?

We can only unlock phones for customers who have made clear payments in the last three months.

What do you need to do?

Please make sure your last three bills are paid, or if you are a new customer your first three bills, then fill in our online form again."

All bills are paid, company phone, got an upgrade to iPhone 6S last year and requested code for the old 4s. All the company phones are always paid on time never any issues.

Anything to be done?
Don’t be a can’t, be a can.

It's an iPhone, it can only be unlocked by Apple.

There are other people who have access to the Apple database, it's how the eBay unlockers who unlock iPhones do it.

Doubtful a market stall could unlock it though, and many of the eBay unlocks are dodgy.

I agree about the market stalls but the eBay unlockers are reliable, I've been regularly using the eBay unlocks for about 4 years, not a single problem.

Some of the unlockers I've used have more than 50K of positive feedback...
