Are your dates flexible? I saw £39xx second half of March with or without stopover.

    Yes, very flexible!
Was that booking with Emirates directly?

Would it be worth calling the Emirates first class booking line and seeing when their cheapest fare is?

Peachy..... when you say "your agent" would that include a high street travel agent? Just because trailfinders does a price match I think so if I could get them to match a third party site, and I'd still be booking directly with Emirates (through them) , that would be ideal!

Yes directly, as per my original suggestion.

Is the £3400/£6000 PP or both?

I just got the following doing multi-city

    GBP 2,053.95
Outbound flight from LHR London Heathrow to DXB Dubai on Monday, Mar 5. LHR DXB
    Monday, Mar 5
From DXB Dubai to HAN Hanoi on Thursday, Mar 8. DXB HAN
    Thursday, Mar 8
    Inbound fare total GBP 1,867.50
Inbound flight from HAN Hanoi to LHR London Heathrow on Thursday, Mar 22. HAN LHR
    Thursday, Mar 22
    Total: Total price:
for 1 passenger (including airfare, taxes, fees and carrier-imposed charges)

    GBP 3,921.45

Or pretty much the exact same doing direct, where you can phone and have a stopover added
    LHR
    London Heathrow
    to
    HAN
    Hanoi
GBP 2,035.95 Flight details Flight details for outbound trip
    from
    HAN
    Hanoi
    to
    LHR
    London Heathrow
GBP 1,867.50 Flight details Flight details for inbound trip
    Total: Total price:
for 1 passenger (including airfare, taxes, fees and carrier-imposed charges)

    GBP 3,903.45

I don't know, that is Emirates speak. Is the 3rd party you're trying to book through a registered Emirates agent? If they are it's seems odd that they are trying to double the price for adding a stopover.

IMHO 3 nights in Dubai is too short and 13 nights in Vietnam is too short.
