mouse prices information on number of bedrooms is pretty well useless (it has not got one of my properties or my friends properties correct) and its a far more out of date site than rightmove or nethouseprices
  • I'm not vouching for mouseprice, just adding them to the list of sites mentioned. The problem with any information on sold prices websites, based on the Land Registry data, is the lack of comparable information - out of interest, having viewed nethouseprices, they don't appear to offer any bedroom information at all.

Sold prices cannot be taken as an indicator of value for any house without a proper comparison of features - so it is incumbent on the user of such information to evaluate how the properties that have been sold in their street compare with their own and also adjust for the date and market conditions pertinent to the sale and the fact that sold prices are not the same as asking prices.

    I use http://www.ourproperty.co.uk

I find it quite good and it emails me each month with houses that have sold in my postcode or 500m around it (and the other postcodes I'm watching too)
