Might just steal a couple of ideas if that's okaydefinitely self care and decluttering need to be high on my priorities this year, has a real impact on feeling good so need to not let these two things slip to the bottom of my list!
Never really got into the KM side of things but I do have a decluttering plan of sorts...just need to spend time putting it into action ! :rotfl:
Steal away, happy to have given you a bit of inspiration. Best of luck with your goals.You do have a whole year and your detailed plan does make it sound more manageable!Good luck with them!
Thanks Vix, glad I’m not biting off too much! Last year I practically had world domination on my list :rotfl:michelle09 wrote: »Great list of goals.
Thanks Michelle!
End of first three day week :j. Number of additional work days scheduled - 4 :rotfl:. All unavoidable due to imminent insane work project, and I plan to make sure I take two weeks off at Easter with all the additional lieu days, instead of the week and a bit I had planned.
Tomorrow morning I’m hoping for a lie in, then to cross a few tasks off the ta dahhh list. Tonight I’m about to go to bed to light a few candles and read some free books. Night all!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Thanks both!
I didn’t sleep in that late but still in Jim jams and have definitely been taking it easy. Feeling a bit anxious today, I think it’s a hangover from the extreme pace of the last few work days.
Today’s Ta dahhh list:
* headspace
* yoga
* Tidy
* Sort clothing
* KM cds
* washload x 2
* Buy eggs and single cream
* meal plan around bulging freezer content
* Book haircut DONE - £5 plus travel, for next week. Bit gutted I left it too late to get an appointment at preferred place, this one is slower. However I did discover a free place near my work which does evenings so wouldn’t have any additional travel costs. Can’t fit it in before I need it but have registered and will use it in the future. Gets great reviews too!
* Post mums parcel
* Sal army
* Collect kids
* Hair mask
* Training eveningMortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Hey all, had a lovely day Friday, managed to shake the post work anxiety. I got up at 830 and did yoga before breakfast, didn’t have to manically tidy house for cleaner for once, and then went to see the Rachel Whiteread at Tate Britain, and met OH for a coffee at work for first time ever! Also stopped by the Wellcome Collection, the Reading Room is one of the nicest places to just relax I’ve been in ages. Read guidebooks and planned some outings for our trip to Finland. Collected kids and really felt happy, such a great pace for a day.
Yesterday had an evening out, lots of friends there, free food, and dancing! Was a late night though and they didn’t have diet tonic so ended up having prosecco/ wine instead. Only three glasses over three hours, plus lots of water but feel dreadful today. Think the diet I’m doing and booze really don’t mix well. I’ve been grumpy, short tempered, impatient... and bit low too. Lesson learnt. Sorry family.
Good news is there’s a delicious roast in the oven, a gorgeous bit of beef from the freezer I got cheap in Mr W last month. Trying to use up stuff in the freezer, we did a very considered shop at L!dl which came in at £50 for the week. I’ll need a few extras for work but a good meal plan. Roasts are very easy on the low carb diet, having celeriac mash and (saved) stir fried cauliflower greens with the roast. Yum!
House swap wise we are just finalising a summer holiday to Amsterdam which is v exciting. We will drive via the Chunnel so will be free with our Mr T points :j!
Week 2 £24
8 Jan £3 bus fares, 25p tumble drier

11 Jan 25p tumble drier, travel free day
12 Jan 25p tumble drier, £12 on exhibition with museum pass
13 Jan £1.50 bus fare, 25p tumble drier
14 Jan travel free day, NSD!
Smaller savings this week but reflecting that I’m not spending as much. Last night would have been expensive as we bought quite a few drinks for others and we hadn’t budgeted for it but we’ll work it out. It was really nice to have a night out, and the teen was delighted to look after the already sleeping youngsters - in return for a £15 takeaway!
One plus this week is that we claimed £65.48 via TCB! :j
Tonight must finish school application and start tax return.
We’ve looked into another (recommended) cleaner to help reduce costs and improve service but it was a little odd - she never answered the number we had for her, a man would and then she would call us back, and then casually mentioned her partner helped her sometimes. We felt a bit strange having an unknown man in the house without permission with a teenager and young kids (and the person who recommended had no idea that her partner helped) so said we were looking for a female only cleaner... only for her to withdraw. We really need someone we can trust and to know who is in our house. So our cleaning costs will be staying where they are for the time being.Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

I have had a few real coffees this week due to tirednessfree from Mr W but had quit caffeine as part of the diet.
I did manage my first run in umpteen years yesterday after work :j - 3K run with no stopping! Ache a bit today but pleased I did it and want to keep it up.

Well done on the running - and as for the coffee, I'm certainly not going to tell you off for that one! Needs must, and we can't do EVERYTHING in one go, much as we would like to think we can.
Good luck with getting the school place. It seems light years since I had to do such things....I feel so old!!0 -
