So desperate - so ashamed - just don't know what to do .... no way out

I've had a read of your earlier posts too - you come across as a really kind and thoughtful person.

First thing I would recommend is seeing your GP as soon as possible - phone tomorrow for an emergency appointment.
Keep us all posted tonight - we're all going to be worried about you.
If your husband is worried about your drinking then it may be worth discussing your consumption with your GP and getting an unbiased view. He (your husband) may be worrying unnecessarily and the GP can calm his fears - or his fears maybe founded in some truth, in which case the GP can help you anyway.
Keep posting if it helps, we're here to listen. Don't forget the samaritans if things get truly desperate and there is also a depression self help thread in the health part of the board - that may be helpful too.
We all care very much, one less Dumb Blonde in the world would make it a little bit less than it is now

If you are a failure then I am even worse. I didn't get either of my boys potty trained before they were 3:eek:  , so WELL DONE for getting your son nearly trained at 2. Think of how much money that will save you in nappies not bought:T :T .
I am sorry to hear that you are down. A glass of wine a night does not an alcoholic make, seeing men lieing down in your garden, hiding 8 bottles of benylin all over the house, along with half bottles of whisky in you won't believe places, - thats being an alcoholic! I know a friend of mine was like this. And believe me you are not even close.
Please keep posting. You and your OH are the whole world to your little boy. He loves you unconditionally. Can you imagine how he would feel if half of his whole world wasn't there any more? If you feel this low, then please see a GP. I got to my low point, when I decided that running away was by far the best thing for my children. And then in desparation went to the GP. Best decision of my life.
good luck and hugs
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Louise, please don't feel like no-one cares - because we really do care xxx
I've read some of your previous posts so know a bit about your background, and you have had a really tough time, but you have been so strong and you will be again, it's just that things have built up and your head has just gone 'arrrggghhh, I can't take any more'. I know sometimes it's hard to see a way out, but don't give up sweetheart.
You have been so supportive of others who have felt like this - you might think it has gone unnoticed, but it hasn't. So now it's you needing the support - well that's fine, that's what we are good at. Have a good rant, a moan, scream, shout, tell us how you feel - between us we have got any number of shoulders for you to cry on when the going gets tough.
Please promise me that you will a) get a good nights sleep, b) ring your gp in the morning and tell them how you are feeling, and c) keep posting

It does sound as though you could have post natal depression, I remember you saying about how ill your little boy was after he was born, so you probably spent all your time so worried about him that you never had time to come to terms with it all properly. Do speak to the gp, there's no need to carry on suffering in silence. Take care and I hope you manage to get some sleep.
Your little boy sounds very sweet by the way.
