Cabin baggage help

Hi all

For years I basically scoured internet trying to find the perfect roomy cabin suitcase (a “rollie” if you will). I was terribly happy with the IT worlds lightest for a really long time. With the newer regulations for American carriers (56 x 36 x 23 cm) im looking for a 4 wheeler.. preferably with 2 compartments, a capacity of over 40L and under £50

Am I dreaming and crazy and does the item I want not exist?

I'd ask on the Air Travel board of Tripadvisor.
It's a global website rather than UK based like MSE and lots of seasoned travellers from the US post on there.

Of course, there's lots of posters on here who also travel to USA so you may well get suggestions here too.

It's the 36cm dimension that's the problem, many bags are 40cm.

It's actually 14 inches which is the size the bag checker will be in imperial America, which is 35.56cm not 36cm.

  • Carry on size varies by airline. You need to check each airline you're flying with and buy one that fits the smallest requirement.

    IT do a 4 wheeler bag that's 54cm x 36cm x 22cm. Also one that's 55cm x 35.5cm x 20cm.
  • I feel your pain - been after exactly the same for quite a while! Found some IT 4 wheelers but without a second pocket....

By compartments do you mean the zipped 'pockets' on the outside or the netting inside the lid or what?
