Could someone please expand the GRASPI and EDM acronyms?

All I can think of is Government Response Against State Pension Increase and Electronic Dance Music.

GRASPI is a play on WASPI (Women against state pension inequality) that includes the word 'grasp'

    EDM is Early Day Motion.
Early Day Motions (EDMs) are formal motions submitted for debate in the House of Commons. However, very few are actually debated. EDMs allow MPs to draw attention to an event or cause. MPs register their support by signing individual motions.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

It's Twitter. If you're on Twitter you've already gone below the belt and several inches up where the sun doesn't shine. You can't choose to wallow in a dung heap and then complain when you get splashed.

Fair enough. It was more of a sense of "no need to go there" rather than any sense of spluttering indignation.

  • GRASPI are asking for more money, and the Elephant in the room makes an appearance i.e. 60's woman.

    There's alternative Twitter page.

    https://twitter.com/WASPI_Campaiqn

Chris Shaw, Waspi PR man, has had a tip off that the DWP is behind the parody account.

They are getting desperate to even take that seriously. :rotfl:

    Hilarious.

The idea of DWP - as an organisation - being behind a Twitter parody account is laughable.

Hang on a minute though.......this is WASPI we're talking about.

The comments are getting funnier by the minute. They're going to take the DWP to the cleaners.

Inspector Clouseau has been seen lingering in the Caxton House vicinity this morning. It can only a matter of time before he delivers the required evidence to Chris Shaw.

This affects people who are currently aged between 39 and 47.

WASPI aren't even interested in women born on or after 1st January 1960.
