Never thought I'd come on here and find the "smug". Very disappointed in you.

Can I direct you to a link which shows how vile these 'women' are?

Altmann has been forgiven by WASPI since she got fired as she has since declared that she thinks the DWP has misled 1950s women. I am not sure whether Altmann has explained how we were misled - I haven't seen anything about it. Presumably it will all come out when she appears in Court as a witness for WASPI - you know, in that Court case they were fundraising for last year and that they might bring sometime in the next couple of decades.

They can't afford a Court case, they'd need to raise at least £2m, and they struggled to raise their £100,000 for a 'Legal opinion' last year. That was money well spent. :rotfl:

No, they're continuing with the 'negotiating' option, and are still (after a year) looking for a Campaign Director. No doubt offering £30,000 a year, it's not surprising they haven't been overwhelmed with applications.:D

Are you affected by the 1995 and/or 2011 Acts?

    Are you a WASPI woman?'?
Do you agree with their 'asks', 'wants' or 'demands'?

Do you think it is fair that a woman born on the same day as a man gets her state pension before he does?
Because that is what WASPI are campaigning for.

Personally, I find the 'smugness' you refer to on this thread much more palatable than the photos of champagne-swilling WASPI women travelling First Class to their 'day of action'.

You know the scene in The Mask of Zorro where Zorro takes out an entire cavalry squadron singlehandedly by leaping from one horse to another, leaving their riders sprawling in the dust? That's basically what Ros Altmann does with bandwagons.

A couple of posts have strayed below the belt in my opinion.

Exposing the hypocrisy and selfishness of the Hooray Henriettes is fair game, but got to be careful when it strays into taboo subjects like suicide, cancer etc.

Each to their own though - anyone offended can just block.

It does however show how amateur and deluded the WASPI campaign leaders are. Seriously, who tries to start a barney with their own parody account?!?

They're arguing with it because, apparently, they've found that Twitter doesn't give them the control that Facebook apparently does.

Could someone please expand the GRASPI and EDM acronyms?

All I can think of is Government Response Against State Pension Increase and Electronic Dance Music.

It's Twitter. If you're on Twitter you've already gone below the belt and several inches up where the sun doesn't shine. You can't choose to wallow in a dung heap and then complain when you get splashed.
