An incredibly lazy day here. On an mse front it's good - a nsd. Bit on an active/social front it really isn't. I'm so tired at the moment. I need several good night's of sleep. To make up for the terrible sleep I've had recently. I've had no caffeine at all today, so I'm hoping I'll be able to drop off quite early and, more importantly, stay asleep.

Tomorrow marks my count down to Christmas starting. I've got 4 weeks of Pickle in childcare before the Childminder takes and extended break to visit relatives abroad and I've got 2 days of work to fit in. So half a day a week for each of those 4 weeks. I need to write some proper lists, but things like, church Safeguarding admin, Christmas shopping, house sorting all need doing in these next 4 weeks. I will have some supply work, but I'm hopeful that I will still have time time to sort. No movement on the bank accounts today, so nothing to Tilly tidy.
    Wish.

I didn't realise I hadn't updated in quite as long as I had. This week, I've definitely had 2 NSDs and today isn't. Quick supermarket shop to satisfy the milk monsters. Then I had to go into town with hubby on the expensive bus as he had pre paid tickets. Boo.
One of the jobs in town was to pay my 2018 £2 collection into the bank (£40) and the change gathered up over the course of the year (less than £20) I think this goes to show just how little I use cash. I'm sure if I included all the Tilly tidied I've made all year that figure would be impressive, but I think I'm cashless at heart. I used the cash to top up my work expenses pot (so that when my expenses are repaid it's all mine) and the rest went into the mop pot, so I'm just a few pounds off the next thousands bracket. As the money pots are currently looking ok, I may just wan some money in their to do it. (But I don't want to leave myself short for the rest of the month. )
    Have a lovely weekend.

Yesterday was a nsd, today wasn't.
Budgets are starting to look a squeaky thanks to hubby taking £60 out of the joint account for 'stuff' however due to Tilly tidies I've hit the next mop pot Tilly target and over paid that. That means the outstanding mortgage stands at £28,000. Looking through my records I broke through the £29k barrier at some point in September, so it's looking like it's taken me 2 months ish to pay of £1k capital. That's not bad going considering my aim is £400 capital reduction a month. It does mean my offset savings pots suffer and I really do need to get the moving fees money saved. But I can't help paying off the mortgage itself. It's addictive.
The plasterer starts tomorrow. This will be a major hit on my cash savings, but if I can end the month 'revenue neurtral' from the work, then I'll be happy. Who knows if that's the case at the moment.
I'm down on my predicted income, half a day's less overtime and money from consultancy work is still outstanding. I have had half a day's supply that I wasn't expecting, but it doesn't cover what I'm 'missing' oh well. The consultancy money is owed, so will come. The half day overtime is likely to happen and we are coming into a season of annual bills that I will have 'oversaved' for.
Will see what the land looks like at the end of the month.
    Wish.

A nsd is about the most exciting thing I have to say today. Work it issues mean I couldn't work today so have postponed it to tomoorw and really, I've wasted my free day. Never mind. It happens. Tomorrow I now need to work. But that should mean it's another nsd, we'll see. May have to do a tip run in the morning with all the rubbish from the plasterer. I think she's achieved a lot today, but we are definitely at the 'it gets worse before it gets better stage'.

Yesterday was a nsd, today has been so far, but that's unlikely to continue, I'm a sucker for snacks while traveling.
Supply work payslip came in yesterday (+£50 in the 13 step plan) and I renewed one of my annual subscriptions today, is 'over saved' for this so there is another £20 in the 13 step plan and some shrapnel in the mop pot.

Waiting for the payslip from my main job to arrive so I can ynab my salary (post date the transaction for actual payday) then just my expenses to ynab when they arrive a week today. I will need to pay the plasterer next week which will wipe out any forward movement I've made this month, but at least I won't be any further behind.

    Final update of the day.
Hideous drive over the pennies to my parents
I kept my nsd in tact
Mum and dad have gifted us £200 as they gave my brother and his family the same amount (but in euros) for their recent holiday to Disney. (Put into the 13 step plan amount)
Hair cut tomorrow for Pickle and I, do not a nsd.

Haircut day today, so £17 lighter in my spending money category, Pickle has his haircut too, but he paid for that himself (out of his child benefit money) bought him a top from MrS as they have one of their 25% off events on, but paid using nectar points, so no physical cost.
Also put the order in for the crimbo bacon, they did a Black Friday deal, so I put our order in today, rather than next week, so Black Friday really has saved me money, all £2 of it!
I was hoping my main job pay slip would arrive today, but it hasn't, so I get the joy of ynabing it next week sometime.

    Have a great Friday everyone.
    Wish.

Well the positive for today is that it's been a nsd.
The negatives are that both Pickle and I have a stomach bug. It's affecting us both slightly differently. But neither of us are well. Thank goodness for my mum who has been amazing. She has looked after Pickle all day while I've been some wallowing pathetic thing on the sofa, retreating for a nap every couple of hours. I am exhausted. I didn't sleep well last night due to being poorly, so an early night needed and we'll see how we all feel tomorrow.
Hope everyone else has a nicer evening than we are having.
    Wish.
