Another lovely day here for team Wish. Pickle has had a fabulous time kicking leaves in the park and running around in the open spaces. Followed by an amazing family roast. Sister in law and her partner are heading home now, in laws heading back tomorrow which will just leave us at hubby's aunt & uncle's house. Looking forward to the peace and quiet.
Today was a nsd (by my rules) I did buy a couple of bits from Jo jo's for Pickle for Christmas, but that doesn't count as 'everyday spending' which is what I use to determine my nsds.
I did well on the receipt h0g spins today (by my standards) I had 10 spins (2 from the weekly bonus & 8 for reaching level 8) I scored 35 coins. I'm over 1000 coins now, but am determined to keep building up to the 12,000/£50 level. I've got to go through hubby's receipts from last week's work trip and add those which should get me a few more coins.
No idea what we are doing tomorrow, but I suspect it will involve using public transport, so not a nsd. A bit of sight seeing and coffee/lunch out, just the theee of us.
Hubby has worked 20 days straight, and has basically been away for 8 weeks. I was hoping November was going to be a bit quieter, but as we go home Tuesday and he is away again Wednesday evening, I'm not so sure. It all helps keep a roof over our heads, but I miss him.
I need to have a good look through October's bullet journal targets this week and start thinking about November's targets. Struggling a bit on october's mse targets but.... should manage a £5 swgbcks payout and hopefully a £15 vo one in the week and a half we've got left. The swgbcks payout will take me over mop pot 1 target and mum & dad paying for my dbs check will get me up to mop pot target 2, the super stretch mop pot target 3 very much depends on what spends I need to make this week on groceries and the fact I want to do a couple of science festival things with Pickle this week. It will all be fine, I like a challenge.

evening all, thank you PP & BTE for your support, I don't mind rambling to myself, but the company is nice too.
Not a nsd today, £6 in artisan baked bread type goods from the market. Hubby's aunt & uncle have Oyster cards for guests to use so it's not even cost me in transport today.
Heading home tomorrow, potentially a low spend day, we'll see. Slowly making headway on the survey sites. Watch this space....

Evening all,
Not caught up on everyone's adventures yet, but posting my update in case I run out of energy later.
Travelled home today, long long drive. Stopped for lunch with hubby's great Uncle at the pub on the way home and visited the local farm for a few bits, so not a nsd. However..
I'm losing patience with the mop pot, so I've moved the £20 dad reimbursed me for his coffee pods from 'stuff I'll forget' into the mop pot (which I would empty at the end of the month anyway - just have to hope there are no surprises the rest of this week.) and I've emptied the remnants from the 'milk delivery' pot as we've not had a delivery over the weekend due to being away. Feeling much more positive about my target 1&2 now and I may get somewhere towards 3.
I don't think I'm going to hit my nsd targets due to a few little spends over a few days, but I'm ok with that. My spending is properly under control at the moment. We are living within our means and still making overpayments, adding to the emergency fund and enjoying the time I'm having with Pickle by not working.

Hi wish!
Have read through your diary, I am impressed with how well your doing!
Remember, NSDs are what you make them, so a planned/budgeted spend could still be an NSD, I dont include any bills going out and I would sometimes take cash out so cover a few upcoming spends, already sacrificed a day to spending then the others arent, as I class a spend as leaving the bank!
Good luck, I look forward to popping back in!

Well done on your perseverance with my waffle...
I do have nsd rules, direct debits don't count against me for nsds, and some 'savings' spends don't either. It's mostly my everyday spends so,
Groceries
Household goods
Spending money
Restaurants
Fuel
Pickle spends.
I don't count it as a nsd if I spend cash from my purse as it's discretionary spending.
I'm really not bothered about my nsd target this month, if I hit it (unlikely) then woohoo, but if I don't, hey, no biggie.
Life is too short.
Thanks for stopping by.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Evening all,
How is life in mse world?
no nsd day here, but a lovely day.
Hubby is home! I came down from my shower/getting dressed this morning to find Pickle and hubby playing trains together in the front room, not sure who was having the most fun.
We went out to a local garden centre today who have a huge, free sandpit to play in. We went with some of Pickle's little friends, he had a ball. He was also the only child from our group to leg it out of the sandpit and around the garden centre, why am I not stick thin?
Then the group I volunteer at met in the local cafe today, so I bought lunch for me and hubby. (From cash) then a quick food shop for tea tonight as I've not meal planned or written a list. Not horrendous at £5.44, but I do still need to do a 'proper shop' to get me through to next week.
Budgets are looking ok, I've still got about £12 in my purse which should pay for tomorrow's adventures (taking Pickle climbing)
Hubby is home and working from home in the morning. Hopefully he'll take over after lunch while I get some of my consultancy work done.
Then he's off away at 4:30 on Fridays morning. Oh joy!
Have transferred a bit more to the mop pot just to keep things moving.
