Depends on the quality of the brand you buy.

and what do you do with them

    Feed them to your chickens.

Im thinking you mean the chicken pellets that come out of the chicken rather than go in to the chicken?

Theyre really good. Or at least chicken poo is (ive not used pellets) but i used to move my coop around and now have several areas of garden that grow a good 6 inches taller than the rest of the grass (and distinctly greener) between cuts.

Just sprinkle them on the soil and work them in. I'd avoid using them around new or young plants fearing it would be too much for them.

If that's the case, I agree. We've used them round the garden.

Look at the NKP levels on the packaging to see what it's best to use them for.

I've been buying a couple of tubs of chicken poo pellets from Aldi/Lidl for a couple of years now, I chuck the first tub all round my flower beds in the spring, just on the surface, the rain and the worms do the rest. The other tub is used to chuck in the holes I did for new plants. My garden grows and glows!

Anyone live near me, come fill your boots FOC :)

Chicken poo is fantastic, just I've so many chickens I'm running out of garden to use it on. I have to take my dirty bedding down to the recycling and let the council compost it. Thankfully they don't charge for compost, just need to turn up and bag it up yourselves

Like Misslayed, I scatter chicken manure pellets around the beds and around plants in containers whenever I think they need a tonic. Reckon the rain and worms will do the job for me, or occasionally I use the hoe to tidy up.
I also add a handful into my compost when I think of it. I'm sure that it helps speed up the decomposition process and must add some nutrition (No science, just cheap and easy to do :) ) It's supposed to help break up clay soil too. Great stuff.

I scater them on my beds in garden and allotment. Mix some with compost for my new potatoes which I grow in 30 litre tubs. Use some mixed in compost bin to help break down decaying matter
