Stansted Car Park - delayed flight

Hi,

My flight lands around 11pm. I need to book a car park and if I book to leave at 11.30pm it is £20 less than if I book to leave at half past midnight or even midnight. I would usually add on 1.5hour to the expected landing time.

It is rediculous to pay £20 just for half an hour. Does anyone know what happens if I go over the time booked? Will they just charge me the difference which is surely less than £20 or will they charge me a penalty or charge for full stay (ie as if I hadnt prebooked it)?

It is Stansted Short Stay Car Park.

Sounds like they charge up front in daily blocks.

30 minutes from landing time to car park exit maybe challenging, but I'd probably take the risk of any excess stay being charged at less than £20.

Do they ask for your return flight number on the booking form?
