There is currently an unprecedented assault on Scottish motorists from these English parking companies......

Don't forget that the company featured in the Guardian's article, Smart Parking Limited is registered in Scotland and has Australian owners.

I thought it was a very well written and informative piece.

I hope the Grauniad decide to do a mirror article for England and Wales.

I didn't see anything in it where a motorist was told to lie, or in indeed in any post I have seen on this forum. If fact, on the odd occasion when a new poster has suggested they might think about telling a lie, the regulars have told them unequivocally not to.
I married my cousin. I had to...
    I don't have a sister. :D
    All my screwdrivers are cordless.

The advice has ALWAYS been not to volunteer information that may jeopardise your case. In Scotland there's no reason to volunteer the name of the driver, if the keeper has received a PCN, as there is no legal means in Scotland to transfer liability from driver to keeper. The Single Procedure Notice does not change this at all.
