Apologies if this is the wrong area, I've tried many searches.
My mother has sold her house in France. The money will go in to her Credit Agricole current account and we want to get it back to Lloyds in the UK.
An estate agent is trying to sell us a company they work with to do this. Any advice on which alternatives I have so I can at least get some quotes to compare? I am willing to use a few different methods for the approx. 150,000EUR if we can maximise free gifts/ vouchers. She has already lost enough on this ridiculous venture!
Many thanks!

It's the correct area!
You can use TransferWise, interbank rate and 0.5% fee. Check comparison sites such as https://www.monito.comEvolution, not revolution0 -
we use https://www.currencyfair.com/ - they charge a flat rate of €/£3 which may be better than a % fee with a large amount.
But, you will have to do a small transaction first to verify that everything works (IIRC)0
